FUNDING IN PROGRESS
Features of Phase Two
Center for Children & Families
A centralized lobby will provide a visible entrance from the main breezeway, allowing for seamless registration and tighter security. LED wall panels appear on either side of the lobby, allowing the space to be transformed at the touch of a button. The Skylight Walkway leads visitors from the lobby to each of the children’s areas. An area for upper-elementary ages children provides a creative space for crafts, an area for breakout groups, and a small gymnasium.
A one-of-a-kind outdoor area for learning and play is designed not only to take children through the metanarrative of the Bible but also to help them understand their involvement as a part of God’s grand story. The area breaks the Gospel down into four parts to create intentional moments of teaching and interaction. A secured area for infants allows for the use of the space by multiple age groups.
